He loves his family that he is close to and sees his band mates as family willing to do anything to protect them. Kim is very sensitive and emotional, them suffering from Cyclothymia with a bit higher levels of mania than others with this disorder doesn’t help with that. They came out to their band mates around the same time that Jeon did, they used notes to communicate and come out as demi-romantic, pansexual and gender fluid. Around the time that Jeon was still in high school, Kim got into a relationship with a girl who turned out to be very controlling and abusive, he doesn’t like going into much detail about what happened durning that time because of mania episodes that follows. He had to get a restraining and protection orders against her just so he could have some peace and quiet. His body does have reminders of what she has done and he tends to still hide from his band mates.
